Matching racing nose and tail sections may be used.
Must be available for that specific body being used.
Exemption: Aftermarket hood, fabricated doors and deck lid
allowed. Minimum roof height is 50”.
Skirt and front nose should be minimum 4” from ground.
1. FIREWALL, FLOOR AND INTERIOR
(a) Front firewall does not have to be original. Passenger
side of firewall may be moved as far back as front of roll cage to allow
for easy access to driveline. Minimum of 22 gauge steel.
(b) Rear firewall – a metal rear firewall of minimum 22 gauge steel must
be securely fitted over the rear seat back brace and the top shelf
behind the driver’s seat to completely close off the trunk compartment.
(c) All sheet metal work must be neat and properly fitted. All holes are
to be covered with sheet metal, either welded or riveted.
(d) Floor must be complete and have all holes covered with sheet metal.

Electric fans are optional.
*ALL OF THE ABOVE RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED WHEN RUNNING A NEW GENERATION
CAR. All of these rules over-ride the conventional Barrie Speedway rules
when running a New Generation Car. At no time are you allowed to pick
which rule you want to follow. For all additional rules not specified
for the New Generation Car, you must follow all other Barrie Speedway
Thunder Car Rules.
